Bamboobarry was founded to offer sustainable, green alternatives to traditional construction techniques and materials. Established in 2004, the company began as an importer and distributor of natural bamboo building materials and developed into the leading design-builder in North America working with bamboo and related ecological materials. Bamboobarry has been instrumental in developing a market for bamboo building materials and construction techniques in the United States. Inspired by the masters in this field in Colombia and S.E Asia, we have had the privilege to work closely with the leading international experts. The materials and products continue to evolve to include the highest quality sustainable bamboo building materials, standard & custom structures, architectural details and interior/exterior design elements. Clients include Zoo's, Resorts, High End Residential, Nightclubs & Restaurants, County and City Parks and to both Home Owners and the construction industry. Bamboobarry adheres to and supports sound, earth friendly environmental practices and materials. We are committed to working only with ecological cooperatives that are certified sustainable and are a member of the USGBC, the ABS (American Bamboo Society) and the Colombian Bamboo Society.
